Patients with musculoskeletal disorders have been coming to Oberlaa for treatment for half a century. In recent years, Therme Wien Med has developed into a specialist outpatient rehabilitation centre with a specific focus on internal medicine. A key part of the healing process for five decades, the curative sulphurous springs are among the most effective in Europe.

Covering more than 6,000m², the health centre has 200 treatment and therapy bays and employs a team of around 100 skilled medical professionals. Therme Wien Med is a unique competence centre for musculoskeletal disorders, respiratory conditions and diseases affecting the internal organs. The facility comprises modern, fully-equipped facilities for spa therapies, physiotherapy and outpatient rehabilitation, as well as the Wien Oberlaa Centre for Rheumatic Diseases.
